Today I want to share one of my most enjoyable projects from the last semester. In my studio class, we were each assigned a fictional client with an occupation that would help influence how we designed a space for them. We were also given a blank space, within which we had to develop a living area, sleeping area, kitchen area and any specialty areas that may be necessary. Here are some more details about the "client" I was working with: Overall, I wanted to make the space seem very cool, inviting and relaxing. However, knowing this is a person who has likely seen it all and may be fairly on edge as a result, I wanted to allow him to see nearly all parts of the apartment to give him a sense of control.
